![]() Open the "f4se launcher.exe" this will run fallout 4 and inject f4se. Once you have done this, there is one final thing you need to do. Now move all of the contents into the fallout4 root folder, (if you're using steam it should have a directory looking like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4) otherwise comment on this post and I'll help you out. Open that, and select all the contents inside You will then get a folder looking like this: Now click extract here, and select the location and click ok ![]() Once you have right clicked this select "show more options". You will also need a 7-zip extractor to get the contents to then move into your fallout 4 root folder (here is the link to 7-zip )Īfter you have downloaded these files all you need to do is right click the downloaded "f4se.7zip (f4se, use the first link and press " Fallout 4 runtime 1.10.163 - build: 0.6.23 - 7z archive) PS I downloaded Loot to arrange the load order, really simple to use.Firstly you will need to download these files: I am just going to start at the top and download everyone you have. Surprisingly Skyrim works well with an LCD Thanks for that list I'll give it a try. I am also using my new index and controllers and loving the crisp graphics. Sometimes it didn't load and I noticed killing Steam VR and then relaunching worked. Launch the sksevr_loader.exe to start the game. Now I had some issues with Nexus installing one mod. There is no other game of this magnitude out there. Everytime I revisit Skyrim I am always amazed out how brilliant it is. I have never finished Skyrim, always get diverted then start again. Now I am going to work my way through other mods to improve the graphics I spent a while just moving books about with my finger in a library. Just being able to move objects with your hands is such great feeling. Really superb I must, the combination of the three, makes for a much more immersive experience. Which is an awesome avatar body mod which out of the box supports pointing finger and opening hands etc rather then the standard fixed position.Īnd finally the Higgs hand mod to ice the cake. Just like Alyx it takes a bit of getting used to. 6 hours gone in a pufff.Īlthough its not the best VR hand integration I have seen it certainly transforms the experience. suddenly 3 am this morning I am fighting myself to press the kill switch on my PC. I thought Ill just have a quick test of the mod. So finally got around to testing it this weekend. And once in a while you get a circular reference and you'll have to arrange them so that it makes logical sense, but it is not super difficult. I didn't spend the time looking at each one, I just kind of defaulted to whichever mod was more recent. The only tricky part is that some of these mods affect the same items, so you have to decide which to load before or after. I just decided to go ahead in case anyone wants to use it. It may be missing stuff, but it looks really good to me and has great performance, at least on a RTX 2080 TI. ![]() If you are interested, I can give you my list of mods (not that I am an expert) that I have built from looking at various other people's lists. I think it's totally worth it, but then I have not played all the way through on pancake before. I am using Vortex and it works exceptionally will with Skyrim VR.ĭang, all this talk is making me wanna download Vortex and put myself through the hell of re-modding from scratch lol When you are in a hard fight you need to be able to take people down quickly if you have the skill to hit them in the head. I also really like the LocationalDamageSKSE VR mod that makes headshots more deadly than arms or legs. I'm using the HIGGS mod and it is pretty cool. But half of VR is looking at the beautiful stuff anyway. I have about 30 mods (so far) including a number of VR specific mods, though most are cosmetic.
